PEW ?

When did guns start going "Pew?" 





 "Boom" sounds like something loud.  "Bang" sounds like something loud.  "Pew" sounds like something that smells.









Ok.  Except for that one, when did we start thinking "Pew" when we pull the trigger?


Damn I must be old.
